Founder, Artistic Director, Lead Instructor, Performer
Vimal holds many international titles in the competitive Latin Caribbean dances. He is trained in various dance styles, theatre and public speaking. He used to be a Software Engineering Manager in Biotech and is now pursuing performing arts.
Assistant Director, Instructor, Performer
Aubrie has nearly 30 years of experience in concert & partner dances, and holds a world medal in salsa shines. In addition to teaching, she is a dance event producer & community organizer, and is co-founder & COO of DanceFam.org.

Elie specializes in follow's technique, helping dancers develop stronger connection, confidence, and quality of movement. He is the founder and director of a salsa studio, Orguyo, in New Jersey and brings over 25 years of dance experience to his students.
Studio Manager
Growing up in Venezuela, salsa and Latin music were always part of everyday life for me. At parties and social gatherings, it was expected that you would know how to dance or at least carry a beat. I had always wanted to take dance lessons, and when I was at a point in life when I was looking for community, Pride Salsa seemed like the place to be. Not only was I able to connect with familiar music in a new way, but I also gained a sense of belonging and purpose by doing my part to build something that I needed.

Patricia Araujo is a passionate salsa dancer, community builder, and advocate for creating welcoming spaces where people can connect through dance. She brings leadership, organizational experience, and a commitment to fostering inclusion and growth within the salsa community. Outside of dance, Patricia enjoys supporting cultural events, mentoring others, and building meaningful connections across diverse communities.
